There are 7 pools there too. We usually frequent the 2 nearest the villas.
This year, the units were refurbished with new furniture, counter tops, and electronics- flat screens in the living room and bedrooms, and a Bose surround system in the living room. The units are like 15 + years old so updates were in order. Here is the living room.
And the Master Bedroom, with Master Bath & Tub were updated as well.
Even the kitchen was update, with new cabinets, counters, and furniture...
Between the Villa's, there are small ponds with various wildlife-fish, ducks, egrets, and what appears to be a blue heron. The heron has a particularly nasty disposition.
He was particularly nasty to a family of ducks. When we arrived, there was a mom and 4 babies
By Thursday, she had only 1. Friday we did not see any babies. Last year we saw the heron, flying around with a baby in it's mouth. This year we chased him away a few times, but it evidently didn't help.
This year we stayed around the resort mostly this week, but I ventured to Universal Studios for a quick jaunt to hit all the highlights, or most of them anyway. Some funny things caught my eye:

Of course all good things must come to and end, and vacation is no exception. But vacation is never vacation, its scheduled time. Hurry, rush, try to cram in as much as possible, and before you know pack up and go. Still it's great to get away, but its good to get home.
I think I need a vacation from vacation :)
